camp

I told Paula to push the metal pole into the hole and he did it and then I did the next one and then we put up the tent. We were almost done and then we put that cover over and we pegs on it and then put the blue pole in and then we finished that one. When we finished putting up the tent we then the tent with only box and Mr Reddy right about what we did and how we put it up. I did most of the tent because everyone else was playing inside the tent and me Paula and Isaiah were doing the tent as I help me put the poles in and Paula we put over the second half of the tent. I like putting up the tent because it's a really good thing cuz you are learning how to put up a tent and other people are showing you how to put up a tent. I break into because it's fun and it's really good cuz other people can learn how to make a tent. I did the most stuff on the team because everyone else was playing in the tent and me and Isaia we're doing the most work.

HAKA

IALT: Summarise a text l have read.

There was a chief called Te Rauparaha of the Ngati Toa.
He had many enemies. He left his tribe to find other fighters to help them.
He arrived at another chiefs village they hid him from his enemies. He hid in a potatoe bit.
The enemies came but could not find him. He had escaped!
He went back to his people and told them of his adventures. He told them about the footsteps coming, footsteps leaving coming out of the pit. They began to stamp their feet, opened their eyes Wide (pukana), stuck out their their tongues and began to Haka! They taught the haka to many generations.

Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Kaora! Ka mate! Ka mate! Ka ora! Ka ora! Tenei te Tangata puhuruhuru Nana nei i tiki mai Whakawhiti te ra! Upane ka upane upane ka upane whiti te ra!.

KURI

Kuri
IALT:summarise A story I have just read.
This story is about kuris. They are the dogs that the polynesian voyagers came to Aotearoa with. They were  bought over because they were to help the voyagers survive. Dogs were great hunters. Chiefs also kept them as pets. The kuri were small. Long haired, pointed ears and a strong jawline. Sometimes the kuri fur were used for cloak. After pakeha arrived in Aotearoa, the kuri started to disappear. The farmers were shooting them on sight, so they wouldn't kill their sheep. Eventually thakuri died out out and the domestic dog took over

This is story about kuris who came to Aotearoa over 2,000 years agoImage result for kuri.

If I went to animal town I will go see all the different animals. I would like to explore the whole Island and see different animals everywhere I go on that Island.I would like to see a lion and a zebra and a giraffe. I want to see a lion because it is nice and fluffy and I want to see a giraffe because it is so tall and I want to see a zebra because I like the colour and they're quite fast.
I want to see a cheetah because those are the fastest animals in the world and they are quite fast because they can catch any predators.
I want to see a rhino because I like them big horns and they can bump you off.
I wish I could see a bull because they can bump you off like and rugby and they are really tough. I am tough too Image result for lionImage result for rhino
